My Favorite Breakfast Smoothie
This smoothie recipe is my go-to for breakfast! Each ingredient is rich in nutrition to provide energy for the rest of the morning. It is also well balanced in protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats for a balanced meal. The fiber, protein, and healthy fats provide blood sugar stabilization…aka no mid-morning crash.
If you are in a rush in the morning, prepping the frozen fruit, veggies, and hemp seeds/chia seeds portions together in a baggy the night before speeds the process! Just add throw it in the blender with almond milk, protein, and almond butter and bam easy breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1/2 banana frozen if possible
- 1/2 cup blueberries frozen if possible
- 1/2 cup sliced zucchini frozen if possible
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 Tbsp hemp hearts or chia seeds
- 1 scoop vanilla plant based protein powder Nuzest is my favorite brand
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

In a high speed blender, add all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Enjoy with unsweeted coconut shreds and raw cacao nibs if you are feeling fancy.
