26 Things I Learned in 26 Years
  1. The relationship you have with yourself is the most important. Take yourself on solo dates, spend time alone. The more you love who you are, the easier it will become to love others.
  2. I know you think everyone else has their sh*t together, but no one really knows what they are doing.
  3. Drink more water. always.
  4. Date your best friend…and then marry your best friend.
  5. A pet will change your life for the better.
  6. Wash your makeup brushes. And I mean more than once a year.
  7. No one is looking at your IG story as much as you are. Overanalyzing yourself doesn’t serve you!
  8. Family is the most important thing. Call them more!
  9. Wash your face and do your skin care routine daily. Yes, even when you stayed up too late watching Netflix and are too tired. Do it!
  10. Numbers (pounds, followers, likes) don’t define you or your worth.
  11. Your passions and interests were not given to you by mistake, run with them!
  12. Take care of your gut. Take a probiotic…and while you’re at it, take your vitamins.
  13. When you eat well, you feel well. But don’t make your whole life about eating well because that will make you feel terrible.
  14. Change is scary, but without it there can be no growth.
  15. Quality over quantity. For many things, but especially for clothes and friends.
  16.  A clean space makes for a clear mind. Take at least 30 minutes a day to tidy up your space-laundry, dishes, make the bed. I promise it will make you feel better
  17. Meditate. Even just 5 minutes can make the greatest difference in how you perceive yourself and your life.
  18. Friends will come and go, and that’s okay! People come into our lives and exit our lives for a reason.
  19. There is a Taylor song for every emotion. When in doubt, play T Swift.
  20. Spending money on experiences rather than things is always better.
  21. Don’t do what everyone else is doing just because everyone else is doing it.
  22. Apologizing for everything isn’t cool. As women we need to stop saying sorry for every little thing. 
  23. Make daily intentions. It is so much nicer to wake up with a plan.
  24. The energy you put out into the world is the energy you receive back.
  25. It is always better to be honest and talk through things right away rather than avoiding.
  26. You are enough. Just as you are.
