Vegan Peppermint Hot Cocoa
Pumpkin spice season is officially over and chocolate peppermint is ready to shine. I may of gotten my Christmas tree a week before Thanksgiving, so you could say that I am a bit excited about this holiday season. The twinkly lights, the tacky Christmas sweaters, the plethora of baked goods…I am here for it all!
This simply delicious peppermint hot cocoa is wonderful way to celebrate the magic of this time of year. Made with dairy free milk, antioxidant rich cacao, and a hint of peppermint it is a perfect companion for a cozy night next to the fireplace (ahhh so #hygge).
While I used unsweetened almond milk in this recipe, any non-dairy milk will do. I highly recommend whisking the hot cocoa vigorously while it is warming to create a lovely froth!
