My Winter Necessities
We are well into the “I can’t feel my face or feet everytime I walk outside” weather. While this southern girl wishes it was back to 70 degrees, I can’t help but love the cozy vibes of this season. All the fuzzy socks, thick sweaters, and warm cups of tea for me, please! I have always tried to find beauty in every season. Winter, no matter how much I dread the cold temperatures, gives me a lot to be grateful for. I am thankful for more time indoors with family, pretty warm fireplaces, comforting foods, cute scarves and for low humidity so that I can straighten my hair without it frizzing up. See?! Always a silver lining.
Winter also brings around runny noses, sore throats, and terrible coughs. More than ever, this is the time to support your body. Everyone gets sick, but the intensity and duration of that sickness can be decreased if the body is given what it needs to protect and heal itself. Even if you are not sick, there are still things that can be done to prevent it!
I have listed all of my wellness necessities that I take regularly in the winter. If you are feeling like you are about to come down with something or are in the midst of it, these will help you recover quickly!
