Creamy Avocado Basil Pasta Sauce


  • 2 ripe, fresh California Avocados
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil packed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt or to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta gluten free if desired/needed


  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. Set aside.

  2. Add all the ingredients together into a high speed blender or food processor and pulse until totally combined. You will need to stop between pulses to scrap down the sides. Taste test and adjust (salt, garlic powder, lemon juice) to liking.

  3. Add the sauce to the cooked pasta and enjoy!
